Communicable Diseases
The following communicable diseases that require exclusion from school:
Chicken Pox: 7 days after the eruption of vesicles (all must be scabbed over).
Conjunctivitis: 24 hours after the start of treatment.
Fifth Disease: NO exclusion.
Impetigo: 24 hours after the start of treatment (must be covered while in school).
Measles: Return to school only with a doctors note.
Mumps: Return to school only with a doctors note.
Ringworm: 24 hours after the start of treatment (must be covered while in school).
Scarlet fever: 24 hours after the start of treatment.
Scabies: 24 hours after the start of treatment.
Step throat: 24 hours after the start of treatment.
