Counseling Mission Statement
It is the mission of Hatboro-Horsham School District’s School Counseling program to provide a proactive and developmentally appropriate comprehensive K-12 program to address students’ academic and career goals in addition to supporting their personal and social needs. Hatboro-Horsham School District School Counselors are professional school advocates who promote equity and access to a rigorous education for every student and who work to prevent and remove barriers to learning. In partnership with stakeholders such as students, parents, educators and business/industry professionals, we aim to provide an enriching educational experience so students may reach their full potential in preparation for lifelong learning and be equipped with skills enabling them to be responsible and contributing citizens of a global society.
