Internships

High School And College Internships

What We Do?

HHTV offers internships to both high school students and college students. Our internship program is tailored for students looking to go into the Media Production field. Students have opportunities to be a news reporter, a live broadcast commentator, video editor, live producer, and more! High school students must be in the internship class to apply.

College interns are also a great asset to our team. Not only do you build your reel and resume, but you engage in real hands-on experience. Internships are meant for students earning credits towards their graduation requirements as this is an unpaid internship. We are proud of both our high school interns and college interns as they go out into the field more prepared by the help of HHTV!

Requirements

High school students will be required to submit a video montage to show us their editing skills. A big part of your internship is creating video montages for the Senior Video Project. You will be here for one period every day as the internship is a part of your scheduled classes.

For college interns, we request to see your reel. Show us the work you have done in college and also provide us with your resume. From there, we will set up an interview and see if HHTV is the right fit for you and your career path! Once accepted, we work on a schedule with college interns to meet their college's required hours of work.

What will you do?

HHTV provides lots of opportunities for hands-on learning. Students will edit and create video montages, news packages, and commercials. In addition to those tasks, students will help set up for live events, and then take a position on the live production as well! Our goal is to teach you something new and get you prepared for either college or the real world.

If interested in an internship, stop by room D-210 right near the H-wing or message Mr. Bob Anderson with the title of the email being about the internship.
