Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Autism Speaks has grown into the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services
The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) understands the many challenges still facing individuals with disabilities and their families. Therefore, OSERS is committed to improving results and outcomes for people with disabilities of all ages. OSERS supports programs that serve millions of children, youth and adults with disabilities.
OSERS is comprised of the Office of the Assistant Secretary (OAS) and three program components: the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), and the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA).
Pennsylvania Department of Education
The mission of the Pennsylvania Department of Education is to assist the General Assembly, the Governor, the Secretary of Education and Pennsylvania educators in providing for the maintenance and support of a thorough and efficient system of education.
The Department also cooperates with independent groups concerned with public education including the State Tax Equalization Board, State Public School Building Authority, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, Pennsylvania Public School Employes Retirement Board and the Pennsylvania Public Television Network Commission.
Pennsylvania Technical Training & Assistance Network
The mission of the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network is to support the efforts and initiatives of the Bureau of Special Education, and to build the capacity of local educational agencies to serve students who receive special education services.

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit Vision is a regional educational service agency that provides dynamic, visionary leadership and effective, efficient services for constituent school districts, schools and students.
