HHSD recently had the honor of hosting the Special Olympics, and it was an amazing day filled with joy, determination, and community spirit. Eleven other districts participated in the event, bringing together a diverse group of incredible athletes who showcased their talents and sportsmanship. The highlight of the day was the enthusiastic participation of numerous HHHS high school students, who volunteered as buddies, providing support and companionship to the athletes. Their dedication and kindness helped make the event a resounding success. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this event possible, including volunteers, organizers, and supporters. It was a day of celebration, inclusion, and inspiration for everyone involved.
